Evaluation of filming Get Carter

This was an oppertunity to get out and practice using the cameras. What we done was watch a scene of Get Carter and went away and filmed it within the school grounds. This was a important process as we learnt what shots work and which do not, which lighting works the best and what background sounds get picked up by mistake. this will also provide a practice for me at editing.

Intentions

At first my group and i were going to create a horror movie trailer. This did not work for us as after we planned it out we realised that there was no way to give it the real horror feel and were unable to make it blend together. So we have now decided upon a music video which is collectivly an altogether better idea in terms of it all fitting together.

My Proposal

For my project my group and I are going to produce a music video which will be based upon on song by Theory of a Dead man called In the Middle. When we were assigned the task we delegated jobs to each member of the group. Warren Connor is going to be in charge of planning, Johnathon Elliot will be in charge of the mise-en-scene, Ian Shannon will be doing all of the shooting and I will be in charge of editing. Although we will all be giving slight inputs into each aspect of making the music video.
